Naguib Mahfouz and The Big Read

In the spring, the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library will present a special selection for its Big Read (April 2009): The Thief and the Dogs, by Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz. The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library was one of only four organizations selected by the National Endowment for the Arts to work with this text (and the only public library).
