Naguib Mahfouz and The Big Read

In the spring, The Huntsville Public Library will be doing a special selection for its Big Read (April 2009): The Thief and the Dogs, by Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz. The Huntsville Public Library was one of only four organizations selected by the National Endowment for the Arts to work with this text (and the only public library).
